Profound Truths Made Simple

The Holy Spirit

The following is a survey of different ways in which the Holy Spirit is to impact the lives of believers.  It is not intended to be exhaustive, but to point to the different ways in which the Holy Spirit enables God’s people to serve Him and so fulfil His call on their lives.  Such a study can inspire faith and points to the need for every Christian to live his or her life in daily dependence on the Holy Spirit.  It certainly shows how thankful we should be to God for this precious gift of Himself to us:

When you were born again you were born of the Holy Spirit.  He came to live in your spirit, making your body a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the One who baptises in the Holy Spirit causing the Spirit to be released though your soul so that your life is filled with the Spirit.  To be baptised in water is to be baptised into Christ; to be baptised in the Spirit is to be baptised by Christ.

As a born again, Spirit-filled believer you are a son of God who is to be led by the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit never leaves you once imparted to you.  You have the anointing of the Holy One and that anointing remains.  God wants you to live in the good of that anointing for His glory.
